We have been at the vanguard of developments concerning professional
liability law: we have acted in a number of the leading cases in

surveyors (of all kinds) and valuers.
We have a wide experience of acting for lending institutions against
their valuers

We have expertise in acting against solicitors sued in respect of
contentious and non-contentious work. The subject-matter of the
underlying disputes may involve commercial or property issues or
unsuccessful litigation, for example clinical negligence or personal
injury claims or another professional negligence action.
We are skilled, reflected by the thousands of cases we have dealt with,
in relation to property transactions and lending institutions in
particular.
Roger Pitts is a member of the Solicitors
Regulation Authority Negligence Panel. He has also been heavily
involved in managing the defence of 200 firms involved in The
Accident Group, group litigation and the successful compromise by
mediation of the group litigation.
