Kenneth Curtis

Kenneth qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and later as Notary in 2012. He heads up Curtis Parkinson’s Private Client Department.
Kenneth has considerable experience advising clients across the East Midlands and further afield on commercial leases, wills, tax and estate planning, estate administration, trust administration and court of protection matters.
As a long-standing member of STEP and Solicitors for the Elderly, Kenneth is also recognised for his knowledge of the legal issues affecting those in later life and those who lack capacity. He is known for getting to know his clients and putting them at ease in discussing what can often be complex or sensitive issues.
Kenneth’s areas of expertise include Wills & Probate, Inheritance Tax Planning, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection, Personal injury trusts and Trust administration.

Roger Pitts
Solicitor
Roger is Curtis Parkinson’s managing partner. For most of his career, Roger has dealt with litigation and disputes on behalf of companies and private individuals.
A significant part of Roger’s caseload has involved property transactions and in particular mortgage possession proceedings. Roger is also highly regarded in the field of professional negligence, particularly in the legal and property arenas.
Known for applying common sense and pragmatism, his primary aim is to resolve cases successfully without resorting to trial. That said, a number of Roger’s cases have been reported in the Law Reports.
Roger’s area of expertise is dispute resolution by negotiation, litigation or alternate dispute, resolution including: Personal injury claims, Property disputes, Personal wealth, Contentious probate, trusts & estates and Equine related claims.
